August 5 was one year since my 1250 graft procedure on my hairline by Dr. Cooley. I am ABSOLUTELY thrilled with the results.

I've just fixed my computer. It's been running slowly for a long time now so I had a professional take a look at it. It's doing good now. I'm leaving tomorrow morning for one week at Myrtle Beach. If I survive the sharks...I'll post an update as soon as I get back. Everything is good though. I couldn't be happier. I've got a full thick hairline and I'm ready to show it off at the beach!

Well I know Favre has another SuperBowl in him, probably this upcoming season...so if the correlation is correct...hang on for a HAIRY RIDE!

I'll agree with taoofjord. I'm so thankful for this site. It saved me from making the wrong decision and helped me choose the right doctor. I love the new layout of the site.

Billy Bob Thornton is questionable,

he has his hair shaved pretty short in the back in some movies and there's no indication of a scar.

I was reading USA Weekend that came with my local newspaper today and I found something very interesting. A lady wrote in a question, "Why has Matt Lauer kept his hair so short? Is he working on anything besides the Today Show?"

Here's the answer:

"Lauer, 47, who no longer owns a comb, tells us he just isn't the kind of guy who'd go for hair plugs. So, short it is until there's none at all. Beginning Sunday, he hosts the Discovery Channel series Greatest American, an American Idol like show, complete with phone voting, for history buffs."

So I guess it answers the question everyone has wondered about, including myself (unless he's lying).

C'mon guys, lighten up on him! Packers Fan, you stole the name I wish I would have chosen. I am a 100% DIE HARD Packers fan. I plan on going and watching Green Bay at Carolina in October on Monday Night Football! Hopefully Favre will lead them to the Super Bowl in the next year or two, then Rodgers can pick up where he left off..which will be whipping up on those Vikings!!!! Lol.

Looks really good man. I hope you have alot more growth cause you deserve it! It's already a very noticeable change from the before pics. Just wait til the newly grown hair thickens! Hairbethere can change to Hairisthere

At 4 1/2 months post op...you're just getting started man. It varies person to person. I experienced growth really early like month 2-3. My growth seemed to "explode" around months 5 and 6 and now at month 8...I'm still seeing a little bit of new growth. Just hang on for the ride because you've got alot more ahead of you.

I believe the answer is yes. The transplanted hair will turn gray when it was supposed to in the first place.

Congratulations! Very good post. Your experience seems exactly like mine. I tell ya, Dr. Cooley is consistent. It seems as if every story is the same thing. I don't think I've heard one disatisfied patient of Dr. Cooley's since I've been a member of this network. My scar is pretty much 100% undetectable at this point and I'm sure yours will be, too.

You said in your post you arrived in Charlotte on 2-18-05, did you mean 1-18-05?

Here they are, 6 month post op pics from 1200 grafts. Dr. Cooley did a great job. I am really pleased. Notice the temples and how nicely they've filled in. If you look at my 1 day post op pics, you can tell it alot better.

Nice post. I never really thought about that. There's always blood drives around my area and I have thought about giving, but it never crossed my mind about being on Propecia. I wonder if a person on Propecia would be able to give if they marked it on there and that way no pregnant woman would receive your blood? Just a thought.
