  1. Congratulations, daytrader. Chalk up another one for Dr Cooley. He's pretty cool, huh? Tell us more about you and your procedure. How old are you? Were you in surgery a long time? What made you decide to go to Dr Cooley?

Good luck with the results, man! Now's the time to treat those grafts as if they're your precious little newborn baby!

  2. Hey guys,

I know this subject has been touched on before, but let me ask anyway. Does anyone experience shedding or a little thinning this time of year? It seems like my hair seems thinner in the winter time. Anyone else?

    Thanks

  4. Congratulations Robert. I remember when you had your procedure and when you came in at a few weeks post op to visit while i was having mine done like it was yesterday. Without a doubt, you've came a long way. Dr. Cooley works wonders and if you're as satisfied as I am with my procedure, then your confidence is at an all time high. Again, Congratulations with the amazing results!

  5. Nashville Kat, Thanks alot. I agree that Dr. Cooley is awesome and if time makes him better, I can't wait to see what he can do in 5 years!

JohnH, Thanks for the compliments. I turned 21 in March. Yes, the hairline is the most important part. I believe I'm at the point in my life when hair matters most. I hope I am not kicking myself in the butt years from now for saying this, but if I wait until I'm in my late 20's to have a HT, then why suffer through my youthful days?

  6. Thanks alot guys. I am definitely in need of some real soon.

Robert: I emailed Ailene and am awaiting her response. Hopefully they can call my drug store.

Hairworthy: You're set! Must be nice icon_razz.gif

Leftsider: If I can't get a renewal prescription from Dr. Cooley, I may give that a shot. Thanks!

  7. My Propecia Prescription has ran out and I'm down to my last few pills, about a week's worth. My question...is there any way I can renew my prescription without going to the dermatologist? Is there anything I can call or go to online or am I going to have to break down and go to the dermatologist? Thanks

  9. I would suggest Propecia. It may not do much regrowth for the front of your hair...but it stands a good chance of helping you keep your remaining hair, especially in the crown. Propecia has really helped my crown. I've been on it since May 2004 with no side effects as far as I can tell. After you stabalize your hairloss, maybe check into hair transplantation in the US if you can save up and afford flying here to have it done.

  10. Thanks alot guys! I appreciate everyone's comments. They certainly make me feel good! I'm very happy with the results. I haven't been back to see Dr. Cooley since my procedure, but I would like to very soon. He is very VERY good at what he does and I would recommend him to anyone considering a hair transplant.
