Hi My HT results with Dr. Radha have been good so far. I lost some hair on the crown, but that is fully expected, as I didnot get the transplantation there. In fact, they are my untouched hair, which are in the process of shedding. But overall, its far better than what I was. Happy with my results. whatever are transplanted still remain good...

Hey sambaba1983, I am now 3 years with my HT from Dr. Radha, and till date i could see my results are great. No regrets absolutely. I was fully bald when I got my HT done and now I look far better. Dr. Radha is an amazing doctor and a dedicated surgeon. You have chosen right to get a HT with her. Coming to your concerns... 1) Its true you keep losing hair b/w 3 to 9 months post HT. I lost a hell lot of transplanted grafts during this period. I contacted Dr. Radha and bugged her with all my questions. Remember this is temporary hair loss to get a full permanent hair. 2) Go on a good diet or vitamin supplements. a) Look out for a good biotin supplements to keep your baby hair grow strong. b) have good protein food, after all hair is made of protein. c) Take some iron, vitamin C and B-complex on alternate days. d) if you like you could use sawpalmetto or finasteride, but its optional. 3) Good doctors are always busy with new patients like you. So give them enough time to respond before you comment on them. I could understand your pain, but ultimately worry brings nothing. 4) I wish you a good luck and sure that you will be happy with your results. Thanks AllaboutHair

Losing transplanted hair after 16 months. Is this loss permanent or part of hair fall cycle? But I fould that from past 2 months my hair is going thinner and thinner?

I dont think you are referring to correct values. Please check whether it is 5000mcg or 5000 mg? 5000 mcg or 10000mcg are the best dosages of biotin recommended for hair loss. Beyond that you may get vitamin toxicity. 1 mg = 1,000mcg Please check if you are recommending. And even in the link you have posted, its not more than 5 mg (5000mcg). BrianR - For you I say that you can take 10mg or 5 mg tablet daily but not more than that. Hope this helps.

Hi, I have used laser comb for around 2 years. Initially, i had a feeling like my hair stopped shedding. Later on, it had no significant effect on my progressing baldness. In my opinion, they have some effect, but not enough to counter Male Pattern Baldness. Lets check if some one from the forum wants to try it out.

Its reviews look promising. How is it better than Laser comb? Did any one get a chance to try this out?

Hi, I have been using scalp roller + minoxidil 5% combination from past 6 months. I have not seen any side effects, that you mentioned. I agree that it will increase absorption highly, but still, as long as you are not overdoing the things, it should be fine. Make sure, when u use scalp roller, dont try to use more than 5% concentration. Becoz, with 5% + scalp roller, can give you effect of 12% or more. I am surprised with your side effects, as I have not faced any. Inface, I dont roll it daily, I choose alternate days. Welcome comments from doctors and members

I am also losing my hair. Its close to 1 year since my HT. I am not talking any medicine. Should I start finpecia again? But I dont want to do that owing to its side effects. How to control my hair fall? My hair was denser during 8th month than now (11th month).

bition 5 mg is optimum dose for haiir-growth. But I prefer little lower dosages, because, I will use it daily for long term. I found in India we have Essvit (5 mg) with biotin 5mg - product from Ranbaxy BTN DT (2.5 mg) with biotin 2.5 mg - product from Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd. I prefer 2nd one for daily use
