  1. Hi mate, I’m a little further along than you having had 1800 grafts in August. The shock loss is normal but also the worst bit. I’m 3 months out now and just starting to get a few baby hairs where there wasn’t any before. Still hate the way it looks but kind see it as a right of passage and have become tolerant of it over the course of this time.
  2. Now just over 11 weeks post. Not too much has changed although some of my hairs looks like they have a little dark bulb on the end, any idea what this is?
  3. Any close up pictures at all? Really similar to my loss and not disimilar graft number. How long did it take to start getting some growth?
  4. Any recent pictures mate? It looks like you have some coverage over the front and middle that wasnt there before. I think similar to me you probably knew you werent going to get a full head of hair for 2000 grafts so giving you some coverage will help I imagine. Also maybe similar to me the idea of a second is a possibility to take it up a notch as well.
  5. 9 weeks post. Not much change as you'd imagine just want to be able to look back and see it develop over the time.
  6. The survival rate thing is valid and while I agree if I was doing all including my crown I would have needed a lot more grafts but ultimately I didnt want to be greedy and I was adamant I didnt want another scar so that ruled out FUT. Time will tell, Im hoping the areas I wanted filled in grow and Im happy with the result. Ive seen guys on here that are looking to have a full density of hair to when they were like 19 years old- I'd look ridiculous if I did that.
  7. Appreciate you commenting but can you explain why you think this?
  8. So today marks 7 weeks post surgery. Its all a bit of a mess really- red, spotty, fluffy fine hairs at the front and then what to do with the rest. Think its probably best to keep shaving
  9. Really interested to hear how this went mate?
  10. Just had my numbers: 230- 1 hair 1133- 2 hair 455 - 3-4 hair
  11. So day 27 post surgery and more meetings today- up close and personal with my biggest client. Joy. People think I've got something wrong with me as they've never seen my ear to ear scar before as always kept it long enough. Oh well- tits and teeth, just get through it. Also- Biotin, I've been using it since the surgery and oh my god my nails grow so quickly. Used to cut them maybe once every ten days or so, now it's twice a week. Incredible- hopefully has the same effect on my hair!
  12. Just a small tip from my surgery is to take some snacks for your room so you don't have to venture out too much. I just hung out in my room for as long as possible.
  13. It was at work- can't wear a hat there. I didn't tell him, just said I had it cut short as I've said I might for ages and I'm just waiting to grow it out a bit.
  14. Thanks mate. I did have a friend yesterday pull me to one side and ask if I was ok medically wise. Was concerned I had an illness of some sort! Great eh!
  15. 4 weeks tomorrow http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/187847-fue-1818-grafts-dr-b-farjo.html
  16. Did you do a thread charting your progress mate?
  17. Thats decent of you. Id probably benefit from shaving it but dont have the balls!
  18. Haha! This is what I mean, this is how I used to have it:
  19. Ive seen a lot of people through work and Ive noticed people looking. Im actually getting less bothered about it. Still wear a hat when Im not in a work environment but maybe wont in the coming weeks. Anyway day 26 post- my native hair is growing at the front and a bit unsure what to do with it. Wouldnt mind growing it all and having it brushed forward like I used to but know there will be some very awkward stages between now and then. Also getting like a weird stubble where there are short hairs coming through.
