  1. It's very easy and no need to drive....about a 5 minute walk or less to the clinic. I believe you take an immediate right when walking out the front door and then a couple of blocks down to the path where Rahal's clinic is to the left of the gas station.
  2. Yes, indeed! The guest guesthouse is one of a kind, and far superior to staying at any hotel, as it will provide you with a feeling of a home away from home. It really makes the whole experience much easier since you’re so close to the clinic and surrounded by other guests going through the same thing. Thanks again CD for the advice you have given me in the past, and want to wish you all the best for your procedure...you know your in good hands!
  3. Congratulations, and all the best to you on your upcoming procedure. You are one lucky dude with that above average donor density....i'm very envious. I'm looking forward to follow your final procedure as I will also need a 2nd procedure to take care of my crown.
  4. Of the three great clinics noted above, H&W, Shapiro Group & Rahal, how do they differ in there approach in performing HT in regards to hairlines, density, fine scares, etc?
  5. What physological characteristics makes for a scare to heal nicely?....is having good laxity a major factor?
  6. Thanks guys, I appreciate your thoughts and advice. The hard part of this is acutally knowing what the final outcome of a HT could be & what styling options would work best for me. Ideally, i want to have the flexilbility to keep my hair short even after a HT. This is all usefull information in helping me making this desicion.
  7. Very nice.....I'm definately following your progress. All the best on your upcoming op.
  8. Based on my observations It seems quite a few guys who have had a HT typically leave there hair long. Not sure if thats to hide the scare area or create a better illusion? Is one limited on the type of hair style after a HT; short/long?
  9. I have been taking propecia for approximately 7 to 8 years and in the past year my testosterone levels dropped significantly. I ended up going off meds for a year and T count went back to normal. Has anyone else experienced this side affect? I would like to go back on meds, any suggestions on dosage etc?... can i take 1mg everyother day instead of ounce a day and would this be effective to maintain exisitng hair?
  10. I'm sure these Dr's are good, but man would i love to see more reveiws and pics of patients from these doctors. It would be much easier to go to someone local but i'm not sold until i see more proof of their work....anyone who can provide some insight into the quality of work?
  11. Since you are located in the SF area I was wondering if you considered any HT doctors in the San Francisco/Bay area; ie Dr Rosanelli. What sold you on selecdting Dr Rahal?
