My entire head is not wet I wet the top a little beyond the perimeter of the crown and thinning area by splashing water with my hand. I have no thinning in the frontal third at all. I know because I'm always checking and taking photos almost daily. -
Yes I am on meds. Have been on and off for 5 years with the last year solidly committed. I have little family history of hairloss. My fathers hair while thinner than mine is still all there with some temporal recession maybe NW3 (age 56). My mothers father had a full head of hair until he passed away. I will be going for FUE to have minor temple work which I have wanted since age 18. My hairline has not budged for 10 years. I have the option of having some grafts placed in crown. Thoughts?

I'm a 27 y/o NW2v. I have a hair transplant scheduled with a reputable clinic for next month. My question is would 500 grafts make a marked difference in the appearance of my crown? When it is dry the thinning is not noticeable. When it is wet and the hair is combed standing on end it looks really bad. I took dry and wet photos with a flash. The dry photo is with hair flat. In the wet photo I combed my hair so it is "spiked" standing up. Both photos were taken with a flash. Thoughts?

I have never heard of that doc. Do your research. Dr. Keser from Turkey has the cheapest rate of fue I've seen at 3.50 Euro per graft while still turning out decent results. Some members of this board have posted satisfactory results of his fue work. Search his name on this forum. Don't skimp on price or you may end up spending more money for repair work in the long run.

If its FUE you're interested in, Dr. Bisanga at BHR Clinic in Belgium has turned out some top notch results. His hairlines are incredibly natural. They don't charge outrageous prices either. Will probably get my 1st procedure there. Do your research.

It wouldn't be worth it if all your native hair fell out in a few years. Not telling you to not consider surgery, but hop on Minoxidil as a minimum.

The best price by far with no script necessary is a UK based supplier by the name of inhousepharmacy.biz I have been buying my finasteride from there for over five years. They get it from an Indian supplier I believe. No problems whatsoever. They also have nizoral shampoo 2% for rock bottom prices. Don't know what the basis for this is. I would use the liquid. Works just as well and costs infinitely less.

Lad, If you're located in Ireland you may want to consider traveling to Belgium. The best clinics in Europe are there imho. Look up Dr. Bisanga, DiVroye, or Feriduni. All top notch. You'll be in good hands. Good luck to you.

Is it possible to use minoxidil too much? I put it on every time i come out of the shower and also before bed. Sometimes up to 3x daily because of the gym.
