  1. HARIRI, Thanks you. I am really looking foward to this second HT. It will look awsome in a year from now. Looking foward to my visit to the Foxbar too! TakingThePlunge, Thank you also. I know you have been following my posts since day one. I will make sure to keep you informed of my progress. Mattj, Your are right about the improvement since my last update. The hairs themselves are getting thicker which in turn help give this great look of density. I am very pleased with the results. Chrisdav, Thank you equally.
  2. Thanks you Spanker, I will keep you all informed on how things work out. Cheers
  3. Thanks Davis91. I try my best to post pictures that tell the most honest story. Have not really thought about 10 or 20 years down the line. But I had a pretty advanced balding patern at the start of this adventure (Norwood 6)and we are not using up all my available grafts. I will have more than a few left over just in case. That, and the fact that the hairline is a "mature" hairline. I don't really have many worries about the future. Dr. Rahal planned this restauration carefully.
  4. Well, I have almost reached the 11th month mark. I am very happy with the results of my 5604 graft procedure. I am off to Ottawa in a couple of days to see Doc Rahal for my second procedure (crown work 3000 or so grafts). I will certainly keep you all informed of this second adventure which will take place this upcoming Tuesday. Regards everyone Hairgoesnothing
  5. You can't ask for better results than that. Congrats.
  6. Thank you Cant decide. It is nice to get to this point...and I know it will only get better from here! Regards
  7. Good to hear from you john2009. It is too bad we won't catch up with each other at the foxbar this time around. Always great talking about HT's with you. Send me a PM if you get a chance and we could talk some more. Cheers
  8. Thank you everyone for the positive and kind feedback. This really is a great forum for those who have undergone or are considering hair transplant surgery. I will post again in a month or so just before my second surgery. Best regards Hairgoesnothing
  9. Thank you aaron1234. As for your question on how I wear my hair in public, I actually wear it according to how I feel when I take off in the morning. I don’t really see why a hairtransplant should limit the way one styles their hair. I just comb it many different ways. Sure, some ways give the impression of more density and coverage than others. But it is nice just to have this option again. You would really have to see my entire face to really see how the placement of my new hairline suits my head perfectly. When I post pictures of my progress, I always try to emphasize more on the refinement of the work rather than anything else. In real life, and this is probably the best part, nobody would ever suspect that I had a hairtransplant. And that I figure is the most important thing. Hopes this answers your question somewhat. Kind regards
  10. Thank you NEWHAIRPLEASE. Dr Rahal will be aimimg for 3000 grafts. He believes that this will cover the crown area quite nicely. I am actually really looking foward to this second procedure because I know this will pretty much complete my hair restoration adventure. Kind regards
  11. Hello everyone, It has been a few months now since I’ve posted. Just wanted to let you all know things are progressing nicely. I have had a few haircuts so my hair is not as long as it would be if I just let it grow during the last 9 months. But this is the way it looks today. No complaints here. I will be heading out to Ottawa at the end of May for my second procedure. Dr. Rahal will be addressing the crown area during this visit. I will post again before I set out on this second adventure. Regards Hairgoesnothing
  12. Your results are really outstanding. Can't wait to get to where you are. Congrats!
  13. Looks sharps. You are certainly going to have one great result. All the best.
  14. I started going back to the gym at the middle of month 2. But I concentrated mainly on reps with very light weights. Did a few hanging knee raises also ( but just a few: I made sure that my weight was suported by my shoulder and arm muscles and also, my knees never went past my waist so as to limit the stretch on the scar). The bulk of my visits thought were on the cardio machines (not the treadmills). Basicaly, I paid close attention to never do anything that would put any strain on my donor scar. Just took it REALLY easy but went often enough so that I did not get to rusty.
  15. You are right Corvettester, people with coarse hair have a better chance of being able to wear their hair short after a transplant than those who have fine hair. But there is also the skill of the surgeon, I think, that plays a major role in how short one can wear his hair after a transplant. Thankfully though, the doctors who are recommended on this site pretty much have a very good track record when it comes to this.
  16. I also had very nasty shock loss in the donor area after my transplant. It started to grow back for me at the start of month three and by month four, you could not notice it at all. Courage my friend. It will grow back. All the best
  17. Thank you orlhair1, As you probably can see by the results, I am very happy with the outcome. Getting ready for round two at the end of May. I will certainly keep everyboby in the loop. Cheers for now
  18. Good to hear from you john2009, I am going for strip again. Still have good mobility in the donor area so I figure this would be the best way to go. After this second procedure, I have every plan to let my hair grow long (well, longer!). All the best Hairgoesnothing
  19. Thank you Sean, I am so impressed with Dr Rahal's work. I spend most of my time working with the public and nobody has noticed anything was ever done (that is once my hair was long enough to cover my donar scar). Kind regards Hairgoesnothing
  20. Healing well. You can see already that your scar is gowing to heal ultra fine. I'm looking foward to following your progress. All the best
  21. I hear from him every once and a while but not recently. His hair is growing nicely last I heard. Glad to hear things are going well for you also. All the best.
