  1. Great... All the best to u! Btw, which country r u from? Spore?
  2. i can swear that my 7mths post op and 12 mths post op are a hell of a different
  3. hi i am planning to do with Dr Pong too for my HT. i have reserved a date with him on Dec.
  4. Hi Rod i have not consider Dr Kulakarn cos she had lesser reviews than Dr Pong. But you are definitely 1 of her many successful patients. btw, when your HT was carried out by Dr Kulakarn, was Dr Path around to supervise the surgery? and i supposed the hair techs used by Dr Path and Dr Kulakarn are the same group of people?
  5. 5-6 mths post op - i am a slow grower, limited growth, maybe i am 1 of the unlucky few not suitable for ht 7-8 mths post op - no more lookin at the mirror every hour of the day. feelin better now after seeing some growth, no longer under depression 9-12 mths post op - more growth but yet to see optimum, cos i am a slow grower... Shit!! but a slow grower is better than no growth 12-18 mths finally happy man The above is what i believe i will be going thru emotionally and physically even thought i am clear about wht to expect from the ht. It is easy to tell others to stay cool but not easy for myself to be cool i i am the 1 going thru the procedures.
  6. I finally found a date suitable for my surgery and reserved 14 dec with Dr Pong from chiang mai. I am choosing between Dr Path and Dr Pong, but finally decided with Dr Pong. There is not much reviews abt him on the web but all the limited reviews abt Dr Pong are positive. So that gives me an assurance. Recently vanman, jimmybald and synz4 had surgery with Dr Pong too and i am looking forward to more pics from them. I know what i will be expecting for the nxt yr or so after my ht. 1 mth post op - happy everythin is over and waiting for new hair 2 mth post op - shock loss ocurring and making me more depress before my ht 3 mth post op - oh no!! No hair grow yet, depressed!! 4 mth post op - shock loss regrowth but no/ limited growth, still sad.
  7. i stayed at Lanna Thai Guest House for my recent holiday trip. Its a simple place with just the necessary facilities. No fridge, no toiletries. Location is just next to night market and you get free Wifi.
  8. i am born with very fine hair. does that means that my hair are weaker than those born with coarse hair? am i more prone to shock loss compare to those with coarser hair?
  9. hi Vanman i am still considering between Dr Path and Dr Pong. i will be looking forward to your updates. all the best to your new hair!!!
  10. Dr Charles the stubbles feel like thicker hair, not fine and wispy. i am not too sure whether they are HT hair or my normal hairs. either way, i will be happy if they do grow. but i guess i am a very late grower. my shockloss hair looked like they grew back fully only around 1 year post HT. Yeah Joe, u r right. Its always better late than never. I think i should take up fishing to practice my patience.
  11. i saw the recent man utd vs man city match and rooney hair looks good. but don't we all think that his progress is all too fast?
  12. 14 mths after my FUE, i am still feeling some stubbles. not too sure whether they are new sprouts of hair or stubble which had been there for many mths. but they do seem more like stubbles which had been there for many mths and refuses to grow. anybody had the same experience whereby u can still feel stubbles sticking on ur scalp 14 mths after your HT?
  13. great results... u r already looking so good at 34 weeks
  14. i do see alot of diff in my hair between the 6th n 12th mth post op. maybe it took me longer to grow back those shock loss hair....
  15. I just started minoxidil for abt 4 mths on my thinning areas including the hairline. Althought the instructions say not effective for the hairline, i found that i started to have much more vellus hair on my hairline now. Is there any chance that these vellus hair will turn thicker n black like the rest of our native hair?
  16. sometimes we don't know that they are working until we stop taking them
  17. i am at 11.5 mth and i still can feel some stubbles on my head
  18. Hi Jimmybald how is the shockloss at the non transplanted area? are they growing back already? hope to see ur updates n reviews about Dr Pong too. all the best to ur new hair
  19. Hi Synz i m looking forward to see ur 1 yr results. hows is the scar? btw, i have made an appointment with Dr Pong next mth for a consulation. if i am comfortable with Dr Pong, i will be having my HT with him. now still undecided between Dr Pong and Dr Path. if we have more reviews on Dr Pong, then decision making for me might be easiler. all the best to u... ur results are looking great. ps, ur hair is already looking great before this HT. lol....
  20. Hi david Does ur table take in account of shockloss? The newly grafted hair might have grown up to a certain percentage, but the shockloss may cause the results to look poorer.
