  1. thanks for the info, i though BHR used small punches. Ive seen 3 of there FUE patients and all of them said the scarring looked really faint/unnoticeable. Im guessing yours will with time. But keep us updated its good knowledge as many people dont shave as close as you after there op. cdog94544: just a quick question do you think under 1500 fue do you think that the donor would look acceptable?
  2. Thanks for the update Gatsu, its looking great You happy with it? Im make it 9 months now so should have a little bit to come aswell !
  3. Hope everything turns out ok, Who was the clinic?? Was it reputable off this site?
  4. Work looks good i like the hairline design, Keep us updated
  5. I can confirm what beardywierdy is saying, ive actually met him twice (2nd time a group meet) and he has nothing to hide believe me. Both times were in broad daylight. Result looks great and has no signs of surgery. He is the one of the reasons im looking to get mine done with Dr feriduni.
  6. Matt work looks fantastic Have you got any pictures just after the op showing the recipient area placement? Thanks
  7. Its a good question, would like to know this also. I guess it depends where there transplanting? hairline using 1s and further back 2s and 3s, so i guess grafts per cm2 must go down:confused:
  8. Looking very good at this stage, Thanks for the update keep them coming
  9. Looks nice and clean how is the donor area? do you know what size punch the Dr used?
  10. Looks Really good Whats the FU count on both procedures, Also do you know the density?
  11. Thanks for the update Gatsu much appreciated, Looking all good still aswell
  12. Hi Levrais, I will email the clinic and ask, its just when i was at the consult i have a mind blank and forget all the questions ive been meaning to ask. I guess i should have wrote them down. Also it a learning curve the longer im on this and other forums the more i learn about it. so can ask these questions in the next consults. regarding the 1000 fue barrier, its for a couple of reasons, 1.I want to start off small see if the growth is ok and the density is fine then add more if im happy with it. this way i havent wasted grafts and money. 2. Being able to hide the procedure after it has been done. i will have limited time off work so will brush my remaining hair forward to cover the procedure until it grows in. The smaller the session the easier to hide. I just think for me this is the best way to go
  13. Spanker; No offence taken I am after honest input, and i do see what your talking about the hair thinning just above the red line. its probably about 2cm into the forelock. It sometimes difficult to judge in the pictures because the hair is wet and brushed back. The red line was to show people the sort of thing i was after not completely accurate as i only did it quickly free hand. Ive had one consult already with Dr Bisanga and he quoted 1500 FUE to lower the hairline. I assume he took the fact of the extra thinning in the forelock to make his estimation? Just out of interest how many would you think i need?, like i say im after everyone's input. Also do you think 1000 would give a conservative hairline? Thanks again
  14. Thanks for your input guys much appreciated. I didn't think i explained myself very well in my haste to put the pics up lol The photo was indeed a good job and it did take effort. But this was only to describe my ideal hairline but im a realist. I think that hairline would look too straight for someone my age and everyone would notice because it would be such a change, probably think i was wearing a wig or something. What im after is only 1200fu or under this i dont want a massive job just something to close the temples but still have them slightly receded on purpose. Ive attached another pic to show what i mean. I have a small family my farthers dead but going by pictures he had blonde NW3/4 by 40 years old. On my mothers side uncle has full head of hair at 70. and a brother is nw3 at 27 and half brother nw2 at 40 which i take after more wierdly. Does everyone agree i should defo go FUE route? I know the pros and cons with both but just want the option to shave riight down evetually. 2 first pics show the are in red, 3 shows ideally what im after. But do you think 4 and 5 are achievable? Cheers
  15. Thanks cant decide, I get told alot that i don't need anything doing even at consults lol, but it does really bother me and limit my style. after i show them in detail and explain they agree with me. Your right about the forelock the doc will have dip into this but the centre is pretty strong.
  16. I will cut t the chase ! Ive been on the forums for some months taking in all the good advice you guys give out . Just want a few opinions on my situation. Im looking into getting a FUE procedure done i would say about 1000fue (correct me if you think different) in my temples and part of the hairline. Im not after a NW1 hairline or anything just being realistic by wanting the temples closed and hairline strengthened at the corners were it meets the receding temples. Im looking to good with a reputable Dr (ferundini or bisanga) so just after advice on if you think im being realistic and the chances are good for getting a good result. Im 32 years old and not on any meds, tried propecia but didnt agree with me at all. All opinions welcome (ps the last pic is a photo shop my mate did not necessary what im after but along that line but a bit more receeded)
  17. Good to hear, The back is completely fine around the crown etc. Im gonna start a new thread just to get a few more opinions on what to get done. Got put up some more pics as well
  18. Thanks Scar5, I thought i knew alot about HTs but you go to a new level lol. Ive been to consults where you have more knowledge then the clinic. Some really good points/advice to think about. I know this is a hard question to answer but.... if i wanted my temples filling in with bit in the hairline say 1000 FUE in total (see the pic) and went with a good fue doc ie Dr Bisanga, Dr Feriduni etc. It does look a bit worse in person the the hairline is a bit this towards the temple and makes me look like i have a large forehead. Would the chances be in my favour of getting a good result and be happy with the result? I am realistic and not after a NW1 hairline just after a less receded look. with stronger temple area. Some of the points you make kind of scare me off the idea lol Im just after your opinion Thanks
  19. Also just another point if you were buzz don wouldnt the FUE cm2 have to be the same to make it blend in? Here is an example, also note the angles you were talking about (ive now started noticing )
  20. Scar5 that was a really good explanation with good points. Its just that i see docs on the forums post small fue session quoting 65 - 70 fu cm2? I know you said in your opinion that they could never achieve your natural density say 80fu but do you thin they could achieve the 65 mark? I was also told in consult that 70 in temple region to me wouldn't be a problem? And this was with a good Dr from Belgium. Also no to single out but Dr Feriduni (not the guy i have seen) produces good work with clear pics and results and nearly always plants at 60 mark? Just a bit confused
  21. cheers guys, Scar5; You touched on something ive never thought of before, neither have i seen it on the forum. The fact of planting at an angle for density. Your right about planting straight up it nearly always looks bad imo. My hair lays flat in the front hairline and flat and to the side in the temples, so i guess they would plant the same, But i will defo mention it when i go for any consults now. Also when it grow out to 1/2 inch or so regardless of angle it can be styled. Its density im concerned about and it matching the rest. Has anyone here had 65FU per cm2 implanted ? Or close ?
