Great results. Congratulations.

Looking great. Congrats.

I think it looks good. 2100 grafts is the same amount I did for just my hairline.
Your donor caliber looks great. You will see maturation over time. 2100 grafts on your frontal 3rd won't give you Elvis hair, but I think your progress is quite nice.

What a success story.
Aaron and I go way back in the hairloss game. Im really happy about this and your overall outcome and it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. He is like the Mr. Rogers of the HT world. Total class act. Congrats buddy.

Good luck. 8.5 years later. Still on fin and minox daily. Much more gray. You are in great hands.

The post op donor is amazing. My case was almost 9 years ago...today, I would have went FUE for sure.

I appreciate all the comments! And I don’t mind the critiques.
There are certainly times I feel like I wish I had more density, but overall I’d say I’m content. I did go out of my way to make it look as bad as possible in those last few pics, as others have said. I don’t think any ordinary person would look at my hairline as anything unusual — in fact, a first date recently told me that I have really good hair which is always nice to hear after a HT.
I seriously doubt graft survival was an issue. Dr. K had said we’d have a density of around ~40 grafts per cm^2 and I almost felt like pushing him to go for 50, but ultimately my request was to simply go as dense as he felt was ethically possible. With my fine hair caliber and scalp contrast, the result looks about right imo.
I’ll try and post a few additional pics soon. I’m not in a rush to go through the HT process again, but if I decide to do another pass in a few years I’ll definitely ask him to bulk up the hairline some more.
Agreed. Considering you were completely bald in the majority of the area transplanted, I do not believe you could ask for a better result. You could do a second pass for more density, but I would advise you to wait a couple years and see what your hair is doing.
Nothing wrong with it at all. Congrats on the compliment. I just has a stylist say my hair was very nice and regal. Lol, not sure what that means.

This takes under 1600 grafts a long way.

Yes, 10 years and I've held the line well so far and no sides I know of really.

Great to see you back man, haven’t seen you in a while. How’s the crown? I recall you submitting pics to see how the meds are working.
Crown is fine. I kinda cringe everytime I look in anticipation of what I'll find but my meds are holding strong. My main career is in the medical field and I've been working 70 hours a week, so I'm not able to get on often. I was down to 1 can of rogaine foam so I went and got some so the toilet paper hoarders didnt move on to rogaine. haha. Been on fin for 11 years now and its held up well.
