  1. Thanks for the comments guys! I agree the transformation is quite impressive. PeloDinero: Dr. Hasson estimates another 1,500-2,000 via FUE left in the bank. He would not do another strip.
  2. The one-year post-op results from his most recent second procedure, a FUT/FUE combo. As mentioned, the second visit added some density to the frontal zone, reconstructed temple points and increased the density for the crown.
  3. Vancouver area patient in his early 30’s. average donor average texture. Motorized punch, .85mm. Dr. Wong and team transplanted 2539 grafts. 268 were single hair grafts, 2044 doubles and 227 were 3 -4 hair grafts. These photos were taken 8 months post-op.

  5. This Vancouver area patient in his early 50’s had a small previous procedure to address his hairline back in 2000. It still looked fine but density and volume of the frontal zone had decreased over the years. Wanting to improve the area, he returned to have Dr. Hasson rebuild the hairline, frontal zone and temples with 4579 grafts via FUT. 1221 grafts were singles, 3279 doubles and 79 were 3-4 hair grafts. These shots were taken 8 months post-op
  6. Thanks for the comments guys. While I see the point that he didn’t “need” to have a procedure, I tend to agree with Forgotpassword and JeanLucBergman. Just this small amount of work, while it was not game-changing, has created a nice polished framing. Prior to the procedure, he could not grow his hair out particularly in his hairline and style it without exposing some weakness in the corners. Perhaps most importantly, the patient was bothered by this and now is very happy. In years past when a patient would come to the clinic with minimal loss in the hairline, the doctors would suggest the hair looked fine and advise to wait until it gets worse. The doctors, of course, would get excited about seeing a stage 5-6 that they could completely transform and change the life of rather than a stage 2-3 with some minor hairline deficiencies. What they came to find out over the years was that these patients with minimal hair loss were extremely bothered by it and as happy with their results as the patients who were once stage 6’s who looked 10 years younger after a procedure. Because we can achieve a very natural looking hairline, these small cases are worthwhile in many instances.

  10. Vancouver area patient in his mid/late 20’s with minimal loss in the hairline and temples. Dr. Wong and team transplanted 1267 grafts via FUE which consisted of 227 single hair grafts, 570 doubles and 470 3 hair grafts for a total of 1267. Both a .9 mm and .85 mm motorized punch was used. These photos were taken 9 months post-op.
  11. Cheddar, mikeyhwk, Bald 36, thx for the comments. Bald 36, I've seen results that do look like they could be a comb over but that is why I try and present a top shot of the hair parted as I did here to show it is not just another comb over. I have seen many pre-op shoots that don't adequately comb the hair away to reveal the bald scalp and in that case you can't appreciate the result. Many a spectacular result had to be shelved because the pre-op pics weren't executed properly. I have attached a few pics of another patient with the hair combed over the area before the procedure similar to the way he would style his hair and also combed away to reveal the balding area along with 2 result shots. I guess for me the comb over pre-ops are not necessary but maybe they bring some value to others. I think the best pre-op presentation, in this case, would be a video of the patient with his hair combed over then a gust of wind flipping the hair away to expose the loss. Maybe we can come up with one of those, thx for the idea!
  12. Thanks David! I agree the crown did look pretty good but he wanted to take it to the next level. Considering the crown was his first priority. I can understand and relate:) bonkerstonker, I missed your hello way back so I hope you are well and find this post at some point. We can FUE into the scar and expect it will grow well.
  13. Hi Guys, Here are few more pics. The 3 post-op shots were sent in by the patient and the others were taken at the clinic pre and immediately post-op. I'll see what else I can add when I review his chart tomorrow.
  14. Aftermath, That's a serious head of hair! Don't even think about another visit to see us unless it's just to say hi:)
  15. Aftermath! Thx for the comments. I guess you would know a good result when you see one
  16. Fueforme333, We have become quite proficient in FUE and feel our FUE results now rival our famous FUT results. Here are some links below to a few of Dr. Wong’s patients who have had FUE. Another couple links also that may shed some light on our FUE. As you may know, Dr. Wong is highly skilled in temple reconstruction and also specializes in facial hair. I hope this helps. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/186218-dr-wong-fue-dense-pack-1736-grafts.html http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/184287-dr-wong-2429-grafts-fue-5-months-post-op.html http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/183292-dr-wong-4377-fue-stage-6-5-5-months-post-op.html http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/184176-dr-wong-3801-fue-8-5-months-post-op.html https://hassonandwong.com/our-journey-to-fue/ https://hassonandwong.com/setting-new-standards-fue/
  17. Here are some updated photos essentially representing his final result from his first procedure at 1-year post-op. The last 4 pics are immediately post-op from his most recent procedure. Deciding he would like to add a little more density to the crown, earlier this month Dr. Wong and team performed his second session. Of the 1192 harvested in the second session, 130 were singles, 772 were doubles and 290 were 3-4 hair grafts. 1022 grafts were placed in the crown. The 130 single hair grafts were added to the hairline to perfect it and no shave to that area was required.
  18. Vancouver area patient in his mid 30’s was bothered by his hairline and frontal zone. Weakness extended into the mid scalp. Dr. Hasson and team transplanted 4042 grafts via FUT to restore the aforementioned areas. Of the 4042 grafts, 998 were singles, 2691 were doubles and 353 were 3-4 hair grafts. Photos were taken 9 months post-op.
  19. Thank for the comment Triple7. His result has inspired many of his friends to follow in his hair restoration foot steps.
  20. Vancouver area patient in his mid-60’s. Dr. Wong restored his hairline and added some density to the crown with 2899 grafts. Of the 2,899, 516 were singles, 1829 were double hair grafts and 509 were 3-4 hair grafts. 2099 were used up front and 800 for the crown area. These photos were taken 8 months post-op.
  21. Due to popular demand, July 30th has been added. If you plan to set up a visit, don't wait too long to reserve your spot, they will fill up fast.
  22. Triple7/David, Thanks for the comments. A procedure of this size usually takes around 10 - 12 hours. I agree the temples look very natural. I would not have guessed any temple work was done if I didn't know. A combination of doctor skill, hair characteristics and placement have all contributed.
  23. Patient in his early 50’s from Vancouver. The goal was to cover as much scalp as possible and the patient desired one session. With 5456 grafts, Dr. Hasson was able to provide adequate density up front with decent crown coverage. The 5456 grafts consisted of 2181 singles, 2927 doubles and 348 3-4 hair grafts. Photos were taken at a few intervals indicated below. 4 MONTHS POST-OP/IMED POST-OP (no product): 6 MONTHS POST-OP (with gel): 10 MONTHS POST-OP (small amount of product): 4 YEARS POST-OP (with product):
