day 12: Haircut/Date. Follow up meet w Dr.Mohebi

Dr.Visit: Dr.Mohebi was in the San francisco area this week, so he had a chance to see the progress live. I discussed my concerns about some of the hairs that fell out particularly from top left front, and right temple on day 6. He said that there is a remote possiblity that, due to how thick my scalp skin was, that they are not going to grow back.However, if actual grafts (vs normal post surgery-hair shedding) fell out, that he would help take care of it--which I appreciate.he mentioned some

New Hair Status Day 6 vs Day 8

I was noticing that on day 6, after the shower with baby shampoo for about 10 minutes, that the new hair were falling out very easily when I ws barely touching them to get the crust off. Granted, virtually all of the transplanted hairs are more than likely to fall out within 3 weeks, but I'd personally like to keep them for as long as possible, and also some of the hairs that fell out could be grafts. to play it safe, I went back to a more gentler approach of baby shampoo for a couple of mi

First Days surrounding the Surgery

Wed Dec1st: I flew in from San Francisco and took a shuttle to my pre-arranged hotel near Encino, CA. . the hotel stay was complimentary which was awesome. I finally got to meet Dr.Mohebi and his staff. Dr.Mohebi came off as friendly, highly knowledgeable, and confident in his work.. he drew my new hairline with a pen and we both agreed that we should add hair to my temples, top forehead and crown.
