Senior Member dhuge67 Posted January 30, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted January 30, 2006 Please post some stories about fantastic results, instead of all these horror stories I keep reading about. Why is it that the people on this site seem to give off such a dark vibe, and that only like 5 doctors are qualified to be performing surgeries. It is disheartening... 1,614 with Dr. Pistone on 2/3/06 in Marlton, NJ. Regular Member laughter's medicine Posted January 30, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted January 30, 2006 I don't get that vibe at all, just from a very few individuals. Smiling & laughing does wonders for the soul!
Regular Member ifloss Posted January 30, 2006 Regular Member Share Posted January 30, 2006 Those stories were told to try to stop a 20 year old from having a hair transplant that he might regret. There's alot of people that like to paint but it doesn't mean they are all great artists. It just so happens that alot of the people here have done alot of research and end up choosing the great artists. People have relayed their personal opinions, not Gospel. I thought it was awesome and uplifting that so many people spent the time and effort to try to help you with your decision. I didn't detect a dark vibe, only one that didn't fit into your initial plan - so your discouragement is understandable. Read the weblogs, they're not horror stories Michael HT 1-13-06 Dr. Cooley 2600 grafts My Hair Loss Weblog My Photo Album

Senior Member hairbank Posted January 31, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted January 31, 2006 Most of the results I see here are great and have encouraged me. The majority of the transplants go as planned. Since you've decided to "go for it", I wish you nothing but the best of success.....as I'm sure do the rest of those here. Keep us posted and post some pics. Hope it turns out great. Senior Member MrJobi Posted January 31, 2006 Senior Member Share Posted January 31, 2006 Hi I have had great results thus far. 1417 in my first procedure in Feb 2005. 1476 in my second in Dec.. I can't wait for 6 months or so for the results to come in from the second. Unfortunately you hear many bad stories from people who went to bad docs ( or had unrealstic expectations).. Do your research on here ( and other sites), visit some doc's and be patient.Better yet, see some results in real life from former patients. You always hear the same satisfied people on here going to the same docs... That's a good start JOBI 1417 FUT - Dr. True 1476 FUT - Dr. True 2124 FUT - Dr. True 604 FUE - Dr. True My views are based on my personal experiences, research and objective observations. I am not a doctor. Total - 5621 FU's uncut!

I don't have that much hair loss, so I'm not concerned about the results, I think I will look good after one procedure. I may need subsequent ones later, but for a while I should be fine. I'll go on propecia and maybe I will not even need another procedure. 1,614 with Dr. Pistone on 2/3/06 in Marlton, NJ.
