What is this patients hair like? What type of texture?

Wow. This is absolutely incredible. To qoute Mick, "as good as it gets". Especially when factoring in, the modest 2153 graft count. Unreal! The pre op images show that the crown area is also experiecing hairloss, and the imm post op images indicate that this area was left untouched. Are there any plans to undergo a subsequent procedure and address the crown area?

This is an Asian patient with straight black hair. He has lots of donor available for him as well and already has great results. I've heard that many people have trouble getting great growth in Asian patients, but mine have always done very well.

What an incredible result for only 2153 grafts!! This transformation likely took years off of his look and was done before the needed number of grafts grew to be too high to afford. Many of our patients (like this one) are realizing the benefits of having hair transplants done in their early years and are therefore saving their wallet books by having minimal procedures done early.

Has the patient been on Minoxidil or any other vitamins to aid this great result?

For all of my patients who have surgery on their frontal third and are NOT losing anything on top or the back, I will not put them on any medication after surgery. If there is any miniaturization on the top or back at the time of surgery, I will start them on minoxidil, propecia, or both, depending on how committed they are to taking the medication.
