After looking at pics of hairline restorations....

I'm a little confused about the number of grafts needed to restore my hairline. After seeing hairlines restored with 800, 1,000 and 1,500 grafts, I emailing my pics for a quote..only to hear " oh you need 2,000 (plus) grafts, costing $10,000+". What gives? Pics attached..thanks guys

I think you need at least 1500. Keep in mind that results vary from patient to patient & Doctor to Doctor. So there are a lot of factors to consider when looking at the number of grafts needed, it is based on the individual's hairloss, hair characteristics etc...

You should pay about $6,000.00 for 1500 grafts.

All of the quotes have been over $10,000. Maybe it's this (DMV) area. I'd travel for a cheaper price.

$5/graft is on the high side. Many top clinics charge $3-4/graft for the first 2k. I'd keep shopping and consider traveling.

Actually, $5 per graft for the first 2000 grafts is pretty standard. Usually, clinics don't discount as low as $3 per graft until after 2000 grafts.

I know Dr. Scott Alexander in Phoenix charges a flat 4.00 per graft & pays traveling expense. And his hairlines are great. I am sure you can find other good doctors on here that will do the same.
