Senior Member HairIsThere Posted February 3, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted February 3, 2010 Hey guys, I know this is a stupid question but I guess I just need some reassurance. Sometimes when I brush my hair some of the transplanted hairs are a little tangled and the brush sorta pulls up on them. I'm assuming that's no big deal though? I'm over 8 months post op and only starting brushing about 2 weeks ago. - 1 HT ~ 3000 grafts - Regimen: Propecia 1X daily
Bill - Seemiller
HairisThere, You won't damage your new transplanted hair by brushing them. No worries :-) Bill
Dr. Glenn Charles
It is always wise to be somewhat gentle with all transplanted hairs as well as native hairs. I recommend a brush that has wide spaced bristles. Use common sense and do not worry to much about it. Senior Member HairIsThere Posted February 5, 2010 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 5, 2010 Ok thanks guys! I've also noticed that when I brush my hair or sometimes touch my scalp in the recipient area it's still a little sensitive, I guess it can stay somewhat sensitive for a while? - 1 HT ~ 3000 grafts - Regimen: Propecia 1X daily
