Senior Member ahmedabad_guy Posted January 28, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted January 28, 2010 Hi guys, Can someone tell me ? My friend had HT last year and his results turned out very good. He has got a scar at his back of his head which is not very large. But he is thinking to cover his scar with FUE. Is it possible ? I am not sure. Please advise experts!!! Senior Member Sparky Posted January 28, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted January 28, 2010 Yes this is very common corrective procedure nowdays. I had this done on 17th October 2009, so I'm just past the 3 month mark and I'm starting to get some growth. According to Spex who also posts on here, the real magic should happen from 5 months onwards. Senior Member mmhce Posted February 3, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted February 3, 2010 Spex, What do you mean by this: Growth into scars though generally can really help dilute a strip scar down. ? Is it that with reasonable vascularity within the scar, the FUE'ed grafts, can somehow reduce the fibrosis of the scar itself by the FUE'ed follicle itself "absorbing" the scar tissue? Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks. take care...
Senior Member Sparky Posted February 3, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted February 3, 2010 He'll still have a scar but it will be harder to see. My Hairloss Website http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=2198
