Regular Member SY7 Posted April 8 Regular Member Share Posted April 8 Dear members, ย Is it normal some hairs (a few, not a lot), come out with washing the scabs after a HT? I saw some of it came out during washing the scabs off and putting the Jojobo oil on. Thanks!

Moderators Al - Moderator Posted April 9 Moderators Share Posted April 9 Yes. Most of the transplanted hair will shed in the first week to 1 month. It starts growing back usually at about 3 months after the transplant. Rahal Hair Transplant
@SY7, Yes, it is completely normal for some of the transplant hair to come out with the scabs when gently working them off in the shower. ย Unless you experience pain or see bleeding, this phenomenon is completely normal and is just the hair shaft breaking away from the follicle that is safe and sound underneath the surface of the scalp. It typically takes 4 to 5 days for the follicles to become deeply rooted although usually we say a week to be safe.
