Dr. Jean Devroye
PATIENT'S DETAILS ✓ 38 years old, NW IVA, losing his hair since his 20s, with a hair loss history in his family (father, brothers, grand-parents). ✓ No treatments. ✓ Thick caliber hair. ✓ Strong follicular units. ✓ Average % of hair in telogen phase. RECOMMENDED TREATMENT Here we present another nice example of an FUE restoration for a 39-year-old patient. He was an ideal candidate for a hair restoration procedure : his hair loss was stable since several years (despite he never used hair loss medications) and his hair characteristics were excellent (wavy nature, salt and pepper colour). In June 2023 this gentleman underwent his FUE procedure to restore his hairline, temple corners and frontal area. The new hairline was carefully outlined following an age-appropriate design, so that the results will be natural both in the short and long terms. A total of 2932 FUE grafts have been used during this procedure. The patient recently sent in a couple of photos showing his evolution at the 7th month mark; he is understandably thrilled about the results achieved so far and we expect the situation to further improve during the upcoming 5 months, especially regarding the hair density and texture. As usual, we will not hesitate to update this thread as soon as new photographic material will be available. SURGERY DETAILS ✓ 2932 grafts ✓ Technique : FUE ✓ Donor area : Scalp ✓ FUE scoring and extractions executed with my WAW system, now widely used in the sphere of FUE. It consists of a very precise pedal that enables to control the movement of the punch, that I also designed myself. The main advantage is to reduce substantially the number of damaged and transected hair, thus to raise the quality of the procedure. The system is now used worldwide, and several dozens of surgeons or centres are already using it. ✓ Grafts Breakdown : ☞ 507 Single FUE grafts ☞ 1483 Double FUE grafts ☞ 889 Triple FUE grafts ☞ 53 Quadruple FUE grafts ✓ Total number of Hair : 6352 ✓ Average Hair/Graft : 2,16 Dr. Jean Devroye – Dr. Barbara Montesanti – Dr. Samuël Jenard Dr. Jean Devroye HTS Clinic - Bruxelles Email: info@hts-clinic.com Telephone: +32 2 880 70 60 Website: https://www.hair-transplant-surgery.com/en/home Online consultation: https://www.hair-transplant-surgery.com/en/Online-diagnostic Devroye Instruments: https://www.devroyeinstruments.com/ Dr. Devroye is a member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians
