For oral four to six months prior you’ve to stop it, but I don’t know about topical dut . I think you can but too avoid any complications, you should stop using it few months prior. Few months gap won’t cause much harm.

There is no evidence to the claim that you need to stop Finasteride or Durasteride when trying to conceive. Be it topical or oral.

You should stop taking dutasteride if you’re trying to conceive. In case she does get pregnant. You don’t want her to come in contact with it.

For how long? Isn’t it detrimental to hair if you stop using dutasteride

I would stop until you know the sex. You can resume if the baby is a girl. Dut is only harmful for male fetuses. If its a boy. Stop until the baby is born. You’re gonna take a hit. Theres no way around it. But hopefully you bounce back once you get back on.

Do you know how long off the drug your hair starts to take a hit?
