For oral four to six months prior you’ve to stop it, but I don’t know about topical dut . I think you can but too avoid any complications, you should stop using it few months prior. Few months gap won’t cause much harm. 𝐄𝐮𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐱 (𝐃𝐫.𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐡) | 𝟏𝟖𝟎𝟑𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐬 | 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 | 𝐁𝐚𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝗕𝘆 𝗘𝘂𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘅
Senior Member Chrisno Posted January 30 Senior Member Share Posted January 30 There is no evidence to the claim that you need to stop Finasteride or Durasteride when trying to conceive. Be it topical or oral. 2500 FUE by Dr. Victor Hasson, June 2023
Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted January 30 Administrators Share Posted January 30 You should stop taking dutasteride if you’re trying to conceive. In case she does get pregnant. You don’t want her to come in contact with it. I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. I do not receive any compensation from any clinic. My comments are not medical advice. Stop until the baby is born. You’re gonna take a hit. Theres no way around it. But hopefully you bounce back once you get back on. I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network.
