Senior Member Julius Posted October 28, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted October 28, 2009 I was just reading a post from Spex on pre-op instructions and he recommended going off multivitamins before a ht, though another post on ideal pre-op routine said that one should begin taking multivitamins before the procedure. Bill - Seemiller Posted October 31, 2009 Share Posted October 31, 2009 Julius, Multi-vitamins can thin the blood which can make for an extra bloody surgery. That's why most clinics advise stopping them several weeks prior to the procedure. Once surgery is over however, feel free to resume the use of multi-vitamins.
