Dut vs fin

Hey all

I’ve been on fin for 15 years and luckily had zero side effects or issues.
unfortunately I never noticed much improvement to my hair - unless we consider that I might have lost way more had I not been on fin. I’ll never know.

regardless, I’m now losing ground (after undergoing one FUE hair transplant) and am thinking about switching to Dutasteride.

Might I have more success on Dut than I did on Fin or are the two very similar re: patient responsiveness?

similarly, should I expect side effects on Dut that I never had with Fin?

I am a little concerned about the “non FDA approved” of it all and would appreciate some advice…

you would have to try dut and see if you remain side effect free, and then wait 3-6 months to see if theres improvement.

id go with a topical dut before oral. id try the xyon brand due to supposed slow release technology.

no guarantee you wont have side effects with dut though. only way to know is to try and stop immediately if you notice sides due to the longer half life of this drug
