Senior Member mmhce Posted August 17, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted August 17, 2009 A few of the transplanted hair will keep on growing, but generally, after 4 months you will begin to see growth. Full cosmetic effect @ 18 months. take care...
Bill - Seemiller
James, As mmhce said, you have awhile to go before you start seeing any growth. Three to five months is when patients start to see new signs of growth and one year is considered maturation. Hair transplant hair growth is a gradual process. The best way to chart your progress is to take monthly photos. Don't scrutinize your scalp in the mirror daily if you can avoid it. I know how hard it is :-). Best wishes and happy growing!
