Senior Member HairIsThere Posted June 5, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted June 5, 2009 Ok so I just took a shower and was gently rubbing some of the scabs off and I noticed that in a couple areas but mainly the area a little above my right temple was pretty tender/sore to the touch....I'm assuming this is normal? or should it be a cause for concern? Today is my 2 week mark out of surgery by the way. - 1 HT ~ 3000 grafts - Regimen: Propecia 1X daily

Senior Member dakota3 Posted June 5, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted June 5, 2009 Completley normal. You can expect tenderness in the recipient or donar area for up to a year or longer though this is not real common.
Dr. Glenn Charles
I agree. This can be completely normal. However, if the pain persists or worsens I would recommend contacted your doctor. It is always better to be safe rather than letting things go and finding out you had a problem that could have been corrected if treated earlier.
