Regular Member alwayswaiting1 Posted August 7, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted August 7, 2009 I was a lazy sack for the first three weeks and then finally started working out. I gained about 7 lbs. and lost all "tightness" in the midsection. To get back in shape quicker I figured I'd try some supplements. I bought these Nitric Oxide products and got to thinking. These products are vasodilators. Smoking/nicotine are vasoconstrictors. I know there have been numerous discussions on smoking and if it cuts of the O2 supply to the tiny blood vessels that nourish the scalp/follicles. Do you guys think these Nitric Oxide products could have the opposite effect? Maybe even speed up growth? Senior Member aska Posted August 7, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted August 7, 2009 I've tried No Shotgun, Nitrace, No Explode, Superpump. Now i can guarantee you. It makes my hair shed a lot more. It has hormones hidden on the formula, that's 100% sure for me, besides the anfetamines like caffeine that don't help it. Ty.
Senior Member thanatopsis_awry Posted August 7, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted August 7, 2009 IMHO, they may very well do more for your hair than yer physical performance. ----------- *A Follicles Dying Wish To Clinics* 1 top-down, 1 portrait, 1 side-shot, 1 hairline....4 photos. No flash. Follicles have asked for centuries, in ten languages, as many times so as to confuse a mathematician. Enough is enough! Give me documentation or give me death! Senior Member Clint69 Posted August 7, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted August 7, 2009 I have been taking NO products for several months with absolutely no issues. I would think that the increadsed blood flow would certainly help. I do not believe I have lost a hair since I have been taking them. Regular Member Old Baldy Posted August 8, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted August 8, 2009 FWIW, I think those NO products are very healthy for you. I've been taking arginine capsules for years. They are precursors to NOS and I think they are very good for you.
