Bogota Hairlines
Hello from Bogota Colombia! Below are 12 months hair transplant results of our 27 Years old patient from USA. The surgery's Objective was to fill in the recessions and improve some density mid scalp while being cautious with the existing hairs in that area. Per Dr Camacho's protocol, normally the highest amount of grafts the doctor will perform in one session is 3000 grafts, however in this particular case both extraction and implantation went smoothly with no risk of going over the daily anestesia limit which allowed a higher amount of grafts to be performed for more density. The outcome of the surgery deemed successful. The patient is committed to 1mg finasteride daily. *Result photos are patient submitted The surgery was led by Dr Sergio Camacho with The assistance of Dr Gina CarranzaTotal number of FU : 3255 with the breakdown of 1 hair 730 2 hair 2200 3 hair 325 Method : FUE Extraction: Mamba Trivellini Motorized device 0.85mm Edge out Performed by Dr Gina CarranzaPre made incisions: Performed by Dr Sergio Camacho, size range 0.8mm for thick 1 hair grafts and 0.9mm 20G for the multiples.Implantation: Performed both by Dr Camacho and Dr Carranza using Lion Implanter pen size range 0.64mm to 0.9mm We attached comparison photos as well as photos showing the progress throughout the year. Valued Contributor A_4_Archan Posted August 9, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted August 9, 2023 Nice outcome but aren't some grafts are taken from outside the safe zone ? The donor area is examined carefully before surgery to rule out areas that are prone for thinning and miniaturization. it could look like that in the post op photo as the scalp is very swollen from the anesthesia liquids.
