Hi,

i had a first hair transplant in which i am not so happy about the density but will probably not go for another round of hair transplant as i am still 25 and want to keep my donor somewhat for the future.

now after research turns out the best SMP provider in egypt is egyptinternationalhairlines (same name of facebook and instagram and website), i know i cant post a direct link but i hope someone might check their profile, they charge around 150$ pers session and around for the four session (which actually is the same price as a hair transplant in egypt, they are not cheap by egypts standards lol), I went there for a consultation, what surprised me is that artist stressed that i have to get 4 sessions for the SMP to be complete regardless of the spot i applying it to (although i would prefer one or two sessions max to look natural and not too much), he told me if u do one or two sessions it will fade very quickly over the course of 2 months even (which makes zero sense), while the four sessions last around 2 years before requiring a touch up session. so what do you guys think? also will it look natural on my crown since there will be transition from hair to no hair completely?. below are some photos of their results , he told me they will go over the whole scalp. also if i am considering HT in a year or two will it hinder the hair oxygen supply in the crown maybe?

Do not believe these images, this image was taken right after the SMP was done; thus it looks dark and good.
However, after the first week it will fade/soften/settle and become less dark.

SMP is great, but the result isn't actually "black dots", rather a grey-ish blue.

Here is my personal results. :)

I've had SMP and was extremely happy with the result. You need to treat researching SMP the same as you would a hair transplant. You want to see people who have had SMP by the SMP provider that you found. What ink are they using? Who trained them? Ask lots of questions. In my situation I was prepared to fly o/s if I had to. I was fortunate in that one of the best SMP artists was performing SMP in Adelaide, Australia so it was a short flight. All the best.

Good advice from all the others here about doing your due diligence with SMP artists.  As much as you might want to get it over with in 1 or 2 sessions, I actually think it's best to go very conservative on the first round and then wait and see results after a few weeks.  You'd much rather be in the position of just adding a small amount in subsequent sessions versus it looking unnatural after just one session.  I had it done in two sessions and had the artist go very light on me in both, and I'm happy with the result a few years later.  It looks pretty natural, although I just got a HT over it, so who knows how much will actually be seen once everything's healed and I start growing hair again.
