Dreamers
Is it the same duration wait for both intense cardio and weightlifting? And how long should I wait before lifting exactly the weights I'm lifting now?
Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted May 22, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted May 22, 2023 The best answer should come from your surgeon but with FUE you could begin training after 7-10 days. Different doctors will obviously give a different response. All the best! Senior Member mavigo Posted June 6, 2023 Senior Member Share Posted June 6, 2023 Depends on the exercise and intensity. For high intensity and weightlifting, it's about 2 weeks. You want the scabs to fall off. For low to moderate cardio, I think I started back after a few days. Like powerwalking, stretching, weightless exercises. But follow your doctors instructions. Regular Member Logan_P Posted July 20, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted July 20, 2023 I did a little lifting after 2 weeks but didn't push hard and honestly it felt a little weird so I stopped. I'm now 6 weeks post surgery and feel fine going heavy, listen to your body and your surgeon.
Regular Member onlywantsomenicelonghair Posted December 24, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted December 24, 2023 Wouldn't train for at least 10 days, but also listen to your body. If you still have swelling on your face, scabs on your head... I would definitely not hit the gym.
Regular Member m123456 Posted February 6 Regular Member Share Posted February 6 My clinic recommended that I not practice strength sports for at least a month after the surgery. I returned to work a few days after. But sports like swimming or tenis after 4 weeks
