Senior Member hairthere Posted May 20 Senior Member Share Posted May 20 This client had multiple transplants in the early 2000s that left him with strip scars and inadequate density. He didn’t want his SMP hairline too far from the perimeter of his transplant. Thanks for looking! 1 I am the owner/operator of AHEAD INK a Scalp Micropigmentation Company in Fort Lee, New Jersey. www.aheadink.com
Senior Member Gatsby Posted May 20 Senior Member Share Posted May 20 Nice work @hairthere It's great that there is SMP as an option (like it first was for me) for bad results. It's just sad that they continue to need the work of SMP if you know where I'm coming from. I still feel for every guy who's been butchered. 2

Senior Member HappyMan2021 Posted May 20 Senior Member Share Posted May 20 unfortunately, repair surgeries often can't often correct every single wrong of an initial botched surgery. And worst case, as you point out in your title, repair surgeries have a risk of leaving patients worse for wear. Any surgery - whether its a repair or otherwise - carries risk. Good news that SMP exists and can be kept as an option.
