i think hattingen and saifi are the ony european surgeons remaining who still offer fut

Yes, I wouldn't want FUT, but the way they created the recipient area and the density is really good.

fut could be interesting for high norwoods bc fut + fue combo offers best graft numbers i think

Yeah, I would not even consider FUT and I don't say this is a great result because of the FUT.

The amount of grafts they took from the donor (regardless of FUT or FUE) they used really really well on the recipient. There is no reason why they could not have done exactly the same with FUE extraction at the back.

In other words, what I think is great is their work on the recipient area. They really made this a great result.

You may not consider fut..bt still many elite surgeons do fut in some cases where the grade of baldness is high and the donor area is not that great ...so they would first do fut and than fue to get more grafts ...so it depends on the situation and by seeing ths grade of baldness and fine hairs of the patient in the video imo the surgeon took a wise decision ...

Sure. FUT has it's place, and definitely can get grafts more economically in some situations.

My point is that I did not make the thread because the grafts were taken by FUT. That was completely irrelevant to why I made the thread. The reason I think it was a great result is because of the hairline artistry, density etc.

Whether those grafts came from FUT or FUE is just a different discussion.

Oh okay i got it...your main purpose was to show how economically the grafts have been used and how natural the hair appears with adequate density with only 4k+ grafts in such a high grade baldness case ...thts what an elite surgeons can do ....

Dr Ball offers FUT as does dr Bisanga and Feriduni for the right patient, the gold standard

This is a very good FUT procedure. That scar is almost impossible to find. FUT can work great on guys who don't shave their sides and back all the way down. FUT takes grafts from the best, safest area as opposed to FUE which spreads out past the safe zone and is more prone to loss in a few years.
