Regular Member Jay95 Posted February 20, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted February 20, 2023 Hey guys, I've been doing research for a few months for a HT in Turkey (or that ppart of the world). I've narrowed it down to; - Dr Bicer - Resul Yaman - Dogan Turan - Gokgan Gur - Seneca Athens. Any opinions or advice?? Finding it hard to pull the trigger on one as they all seem pretty good. Thanks, Jay

Regular Member Jay95 Posted February 20, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 20, 2023 Price seems reasonable and also my family is from there (i was born in Australia), so it feels a bit more comfortable to go somewhere I can speak the language and have family to assist me. firatkaan
Hello, I was in similar situation. I travelled from London to Istanbul to get my hair done back in 2020. From that list I would recommend Ozlem Bicer from what i read online (I got mine from Hairneva Guncel Ozturk). During that time I found her little pricey for the country and had a waitlist also. What I know about Turkish clinics you should avoid 3 kind of clinics: 1) Clinics lacking of expertise: But have a marketing budget for social media 2) Clinics w/ poor reputation (known as hairmills): I am not going to elaborate you should know 3) Unhygienic or unprofessional practices: Especially after the pandemic started every clinic in Turkey advertise themself as Covid-19 proof. Don't let them fool you! And for the profiecency, don't go a surgeon who cuts corners or lacks professionalism. Can increase the risk of complications, infections, and unsatisfactory results for you. Good luck!

Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted February 23, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted February 23, 2023 @Jay95 what is your current hair loss and how old are you? I ask this because if you are a high Norwood you will need someone who specializes in such cases. Also if you are young you need a plan that covers the rest of your life for future hair loss which will mean more surgery. Surgery is rarely a one and done deal. Regular Member Jay95 Posted February 23, 2023 Author Regular Member Share Posted February 23, 2023 Hey @Gatsby - ill be 28 in September. I think I'm probably a Norwood 4, slowly progressing to 5. Which surgeons would you recommend for my situation? My list now is looking like Dr Turan, Dr Gur, Dr Kongkiat, Dr Camacho, Dr Das (Eugenix). I've also been talking to some lesser known surgeons like Dr George Gounnaris at Seneca Athens and Dr Augusto Guerreiro at LHR Lisbon. I will start using minoxidil if/after i get the surgery. isbon. Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted February 23, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted February 23, 2023 I like Dr Bicer but Dr Das is a great surgeon also. If you require beard grafts then I would go with Dr Das. Just my humble opinion.
