Regular Member Afro Posted June 10, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted June 10, 2022 Is a hair transplant fully matured(done changing) at 12 months? Some places I hear 18 months-2 years for final results. Which is it?

Eugenix Hair Sciences
The full growth takes place between 12 to 18 months, depending from person to person. To be on the safer side, you can go for another transplant after the 18th month. Edited June 11, 2022 by Eugenix Hair Sciences
Senior Member gillenator Posted June 11, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted June 11, 2022 Hair caliber maturation follows the full regrowth of the grafts after 12 months following the procedure and that makes an incredible visual difference. I think either would be okay, but if it were me, I'd err on the longer side so you can get an even more accurate depiction of the state of your hair before the 2nd procedure. This is something you could discuss with the surgeon, especially if you know from the beginning that you're going to want two procedures. They'll be able to take that into consideration when formulating the best game plan for you and map it all out accordingly. I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA.
