Yugesh,

While it’s not too abnormal to experience the occasional semi-sharp pain or some dull aching during the healing process, I would not consider anything I experienced after my hair transplant anything like that.

When was your procedure?   Did you undergo FUT or FUE hair transplant surgery?

Personally, I suggest contacting your hair transplant surgeon / clinic to discuss your situation and garner their input regarding what you’re experiencing.

Wishing you a safe and painless healing process and experience moving forward,

It sounds like nerve pain related to the recipient incisions that were made, very normal experience.

Most likely nerve pain as @gillenatormentioned, more than a common occurrence after FUE. Dude you gotta stop worrying 👍🏽🙏

I also had these needle like sensations when the regrowth started approximately 3 months or so post-op…new growth breaking through the scalp.

I experienced similar sensations for the first 3-4 weeks in the donor area, and it was determined to be nerve related - and not uncommon. It's almost definitely temporary and nothing to be alarmed about. The punctures/incisions in the scalp don't go deep enough to do actual damage to the nerves, but it can irritate them a bit. That may be all you were experiencing.
