Regular Member slim999 Posted April 29, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted April 29, 2022 (edited) I am close to 3 weeks post hair transplant. The donor area feels very sensitive, and is slightly painful to touch. Is this normal ? How long does it take usually for the donor area to heal completely ? Senior Member gillenator Posted April 29, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted April 29, 2022 There are an endless amount of nerves and blood vessels that get severed in the procedure however they do heal with time and the discomfort varies between individuals…I used extra strength Tylenol 500 for my post-op discomfort. 1 Gillenator Independent Patient Advocate I am not a physician and not employed by any doctor/clinic.
