BHT and Donor area

Questions :

 Let’s say someone has 7.000 grafts to use total and his hairloss is minor so he uses 2.500 of them :

1. Can you transplant BHT grafts in the area where the 2.500 grafts taken of ? Is it risky for permanent sock loss in the donor area ? 
 

2. Can the surgeon seperate the BHT and the native hair in donor area if he does a second hair transplant , so he chooses only the native ?

3. Can that all happen or you have to use all of the possible donor grafts first and then rebuild some with BHT grafts ?

The only time I've seen photos here of people adding body grafts into the donor area are to fill in FUT scars and, occasionally, overharvesting of the donor.  Otherwise it's not a good idea to do it.

Many hair transplants are FUE these days.  Extracting grafts in this manner lowers the density of the donor.  Adding the grafts adds density to the recipient.  The closer the densities of the two areas match, the more your hair will look "full."  But putting beard hairs into the donor will add density to the donor and make the recipient look less thinning.  There's really no point.

yes you can do this, @mustang and @gimpoli have threads on this already but its more of a contingency for overharvesting

Yep it's doable, but don't ever expect to get back the same density and quality of original hair you remove from the donor. That said, good quality BHT does a pretty damn good job at plugging the hole.
