Mav,

Sorry I can't combine this and your previous albums. However, if you add all of your photos to your patient website, all of your images can be easily accessible in one spot.

It looks like Dr. Pathomvanich did some nice work on you. I look forward to following your progress.

All the best and happy growing :-)

Bill

Mav,

Thank you for creating your own patient website. It will really help us members follow your progress! Having said that, I think the work looks very refined, and I can't wait to see the grown-out result!

Good luck.

Hey wb !

wish time flew faster !! It takes supreme effort to not take a look at the grafts every half an hour and will them to grow faster !! icon_smile.gif

On the positive side I am glad I took the decision at the right time. The last two months have been more or less a breeze- just waiting now for the babies to sprout ! I wish you all the best for your surgery and believe you me its gonna be a life altering experience. Not much has changed in the way I look but i sure do feel confident knowing that in a coupla months I wd be looking like I wanted to.

Cheers to your upcoming HT !

Hi wb!

Yes the period before the surgery can be quite nerve wrecking. I was fortunate that I didn't get much time to think before the actual procedure as I had been alloted a date six days from intimation due to the a cancellation of a surgery at Doc Path's clinic. Everything happened too fast and before I knew I was done with it icon_smile.gif

The donor area is a little sore to touch but not to the extent of me feeling uncomfortable. Pimples on the hairline are a minor irritant though !

Pathspatient,

Just checked out your blog. i could see some hair sprouting from the transplanted area. Looking good mate. the redness should go soon. would be following your progress with interest as not only we share the same doctor but also more or less the same number of grafts transplanted in the same hairline region. and to top it all we had the HT done within a week of each other :)

happy growing!

hi pathspatient and mav! how are u guys doing?

I postponing my surgery due to the imminent clash at Bangkok and my govt has strongly recommended only essential trips to be made. even the hospital only admits emergency cases only.

Wow it's been four years already..!! Time flew by didn't it .. me getting married and traveling a fair bit, so yeah I guess it did.;)

With me all domesticated, time to take care of the pending stuff - an upadte:

http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/160613-1-session-marked-improvement-dht-clinic-operated-dr-pathomvanich.html

I have been to Bangkok for work quite a few times after my surgery and on one of those trips Dr. Pathomvanich and I met for an analysis. He was pleased as a punch seeing my result. In fact this was the most animated, and dare I say, literally grinning version of the good Doctor that I recall witnessing on my any of consultation or surgery 'Wazzups' !! Normally he is pretty stoic, isn't he?

Anyways cutting a long re-introduction short, guys I am totally satisfied with my result, It has been four years and I couldn't have chosen a better Doctor, or a better time for a HT. Would post the present day pic soon, meanwhile I have got a question to ask:

"Is FUT still a better bet for a first time patient than FUE, or have the realities changed in the four years that I was in hibernation?"

My 27 years old, kid brother is seemingly a Norwood 5A and it's time we shake things up a bit.Would be great to hear from you folks, hope the veterans are still rockin' !

Cheers !!
