tarheels3 Posted December 16, 2021 Share Posted December 16, 2021 Hello everyone. I have recently had 2 FUE procedures for a total of 2600 grafts. I am happy with my result in the recipient area. but a bit unhappy with my donor area as I like to wear my hair short on the sides and back (ex. skin fade). I researched for potential solutions and found SMP. This seems like a great option when the hair is freshly shaved. However, I can’t find anywhere what it would look like for FUE scars as my hair would grow out between haircuts. Would it look weird? Does anyone have examples they found on the internet? I've had SMP and I've seen SMP used to increase the density for hair transplants and thinning hair. If you grow your hair out you shouldn't really see FUE scars? Rahal Hair Transplant Posted December 18, 2021 Share Posted December 18, 2021 To be honest, I’m surprised to hear that SMP is not giving you the aesthetic improvement in the donor area that you’re looking for. Even if you wore your hair longer, it should still make a significant difference if done right. Perhaps if you show us some photos, we can get a better idea of what you’re experiencing.
