A general hair question related question. Does finding variety in hair strand diameter always mean miniaturization? Most of my strand are very fine, and always have been, but a few are much thicker and darker. However, what concerns me is finding full length hairs (usually over 3cm) that are extremely thin, like almost invisible. Are these normal to some extent on all scalps? I find maybe 15-20% of my daily hair fall are these wispy strands. It’s rare I find over 20 of them. I also find them from all across my head, not just the typical balding areas. Thanks for the input!

It's normal to see some variation, around 10% of the hair on you scalp is entering the telogen phase, so it will be thinner than the rest of your sclap.
