Nizoral Question / Ketoconazole

I've decided to give Nizoral a shot especially since I actually occasionally get a good amount of dandruff / itchy scalp. Thinking it can help on both hair loss + general comfort front.

I found this one on Amazon - it states 1% Ketoconazole. From anyone's personal experience has this been helpful and do you use  it 2x a week? If there are other brands please let me know. I don't dye my hair, etc

Also, I read some reviews from Amazon that it actually caused or accelerated hair loss. I'm not sure if these are just false claims. I'm trying to see a dermatologist but can't get an appointment under my insurance for almost 2 months.

I've used nizoral for dandruff for over 1 year.  I still get dandruff bouts and it doesn't seem to help with hair thickness/hair loss
