Hey guys...I'm looking for some advice in regards to what things to take with me during my 5 day stay in Vancouver when I go to get my HT (Leaving Friday Jan. 15 and heading back to Pennsylvania Wednesday Jan. 20)...this is my list so far. I don't want to forget anything icon_confused.gif

Passport

Customs Letter that H&W sends you via mail

Cell Phone / charger

Canadian money / credit card(s)

Couple bandanas and a loose fitting hat

Shampoo and other toiletries

Clothes (buttoned up shirt for surgery day)

Umbrella

iPod

Reading material

Anything else? Thanks!

Many button-up shirts that you'll wear for at least the first week or longer.

Comfortable pants for sitting in the operating chair all day.

Some light food to eat when you get back to the hotel room, depending how you're feeling, and/or for breakfast.

A laptop could be very entertaining or useful; the hotel will have an internet connection.

Bring a neck pillow. One of those traveling ones. I found it best to use it just after surgery to sleep. However, I tried it on the plane ride coming back home and the neck pillow made it worse for me.

They provide you with a solid black hat already and a really big one at that. Make sure your bandanas are big and loose enough to wrap around your head. The ones I brought were tight and I had to settle with the hat they provided me.

There is a 7-11 across the street from the Sheraton. It's like a little grocery store. I found it very convenient. The travel pillow is a must have for any HT surgery.
