Regular Member coscanoer Posted November 22, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted November 22, 2009 Many button-up shirts that you'll wear for at least the first week or longer. Comfortable pants for sitting in the operating chair all day. Some light food to eat when you get back to the hotel room, depending how you're feeling, and/or for breakfast. A laptop could be very entertaining or useful; the hotel will have an internet connection.
Regular Member jmg544 Posted November 22, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted November 22, 2009 Bring a neck pillow. One of those traveling ones. I found it best to use it just after surgery to sleep. However, I tried it on the plane ride coming back home and the neck pillow made it worse for me. They provide you with a solid black hat already and a really big one at that. Make sure your bandanas are big and loose enough to wrap around your head. The ones I brought were tight and I had to settle with the hat they provided me. Regular Member alwayswaiting1 Posted November 23, 2009 Regular Member Share Posted November 23, 2009 There is a 7-11 across the street from the Sheraton. It's like a little grocery store. I found it very convenient. The travel pillow is a must have for any HT surgery.
