MCAN Health , Clinicana or Dr. Sahinoglu, Demirsoy, Gür

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have done some research and I have narrowed down my list to a few clinics/doctors that seemed quality/price-wise correct.

Does any of you have any recommendations regarding these clinics/doctors?

Here is my list : MCAN Health, Clinicana, Dr. Kayihan Sahinoglu, Dr Erkan Demirsoy , Dr. Gökhan Gür

Why those particular surgeons? I know some of those are hair mills, if it’s purely because of cost I would urge you to reconsider your selections.

Nope to all apart from Demirsoy. Please look for quality clinics as opposed to price. It’s still possible to get get “affordable” without compromising on quality and going to a hair mill.
You could add Dr Bicer to your list ? Amazing for the price point. Dr Yaman is also recommended by the forum:

For Turkey you can consider HLC, Pekiner and Keser for example. ASMED if you choose the Dr involvement option. If you include Spain/Portugal you would have even more options open to you. De Freitas being a amazing choice for anyone !

In my opinion, the best clinic for the price is Eugenix. Low cost and highest quality.

Thanks everyone for your replies!

Actually price doesn't matter to me. I just asked friends around me that already had a hair transplant performed on them , and made some search on the internet to see what were the best clinics/doctors with the least bad reviews. That's how I shortlisted those that I put in this post.

I'm quite new in this area, that's why I was also asking for your opinion :)

Based on the answers I received from every clinic/doctor that I contacted until now, I won't need more than 2500 grafts.

Which clinic/doctor would you suggest to me in that case?

I don't know about the others, but I've only heard good things about Demirsoy. I also recently heard from my brother's friend that a chiropractor helps him, and he goes to sessions twice a week. Of course, you may not believe me, but he's getting better, and his whole body seems to be rebuilt after this practice. He began to look fresher, lost a little extra weight, his face acquired a healthy shade, and his facial hair became smooth and, it seems to me, there were more of them (his hair grew a little longer from the usual hairstyle). I also go to the same chiropractic specialist and feel an improvement.

May I ask if and why does Sahinoglu register as Hair Mill. I chose him for my upcoming FUE procedure as imo he ticks of a lot of boxes for being relatively thrust-worthy choice.

He seems to have a lot of experience behind him (order of magnitude 20 years), done several thousand surgeries, does one-patient-per-day approach, personally does 75% of the work (extractions and incision I think), allegedly works with few same assistants for a very long time, opts for very conservative hairlines and smaller number of grafts per session and, I guess least relevant, but still a bit reassuring - is member of ABHRS.

I also personally contacted some of his former patients whom I found on the german forums, to ask about their experience, and still have not hear any bad comment. Most of them are 6 months to 1 year in post-surgery.

Only thing that put me off a bit was his attitude of not prescribing Finesterid to patients, due to his bad personal experience with it, and justifying it by doing "very onservative hairlines".  I failed to understand how can this really compensate for progressive hair loss after the procedure.

Other then that he uses imo relatively large punch size (think it is 0.9mm , and I am quite concerned about the scarring).

This is what I figured out about him in my limited research, but would be very happy if someone could provide me with another information and angles on this.
