Raphael84
Very impressive! Great coverage and good density for as little as 4000 grafts. These photos look great. May I ask why less than 2000 grafts were used in the 1st procedure however? Senior Member Stuart01 Posted October 19, 2009 Author Senior Member Share Posted October 19, 2009 Raphael84, Thank you for the nice comment. In regards to your question, the main objective when doing a procedure is to give the patient the best possible result you can. This patient was extremely nervous about having a bad scar in his his donor area knowing that he was going to need a couple procedures. Dr. Panine could of done more grafts during the patients first procedure, but knowing he was going to have a 2nd session and knowing the he wanted to have the flexibility to cut his hair very short in the back he was more comfortable doing this amount of grafts. Dr. Panine always cuts out the old scar with each additional procedure and does the tricophytic closure. As you can see by looking at his donor area the patient does have a scar, but it is minimal. I am glad that you are very impressed with the results that it what we want all are patients to say one year after there procedure. Thanks again for the nice comment.
