using finasteride for crown, but also using minoxidil for beard journey as well

i just got an fut procedure for my front, roughly about 2100 grafts for my front and midscalp area- down in AZ.  im about 2weeks in; i am now on propecia 3xweek.  my crown is about a nw4 i am 47.

im considering thickening up my beard by using minoxidil (2xday)while i wait for my scalp grafts to kick in.  is this doable?  is there anyone that has done this?  what are the possible side effects?  thank you.

after applying minoxidil on the head and before washing my hands, i always go through my beard. i notice increase in density and a general stronger structure of the beard. it works for the beard

I’m doing the same, taking finasteride and using minoxidil on both beard and scalp. Still too early for results though I rather have more hair on my head a thicker beard would be a nice consultation prize.

I use minoxidil for my beard also I've already seen gains after only two months.

Check out r/Minoxbeards on Reddit. Lots of people are doing it.

my question is does fin slow down beard growth?  i will continue using fin as i want to preserve my crown and hopefully, regrow some new crown hairs too :)

i just want a beard to add to the journey, as ive never had a full blown beard.  its actually quite exciting to start both journeys!
