Experiences with Oral Minoxidil users?

Recently I was prescribed by Dr.Nadimi to 1.5mg oral minoxidil since it has shown to be an effective option for hair regrowth. I wanted to ask if there are any past users that can share their experiences with me. Does 1.5mg daily have extreme risks? When I ask this my main concern isn't about taking it for a short period of time but people who have a plan or have taken it for years of their lives. Is there any research on this and the effects it can have on your body if you say take it for 5 years to 10 years at a low dosage of 1.5mg?

 

Also, I wanted to ask how effective topical minoxidil is especially in the crown area and how long it takes to see results? How many times a day should I take topical minoxidil and have you guys had any positive results taking it when coupled with finasteride. I am new to this so sorry for the rookie questions, but this would really help me a lot if I can get an answer.
