FUE of 2800 grafts, Istanbul Turkey, clinic - Clinicana

Hello,

I recently got a hair transplant in turkey from a clinic called Clinicana on September 16, 2020.  I wish I had stumble upon this page to have more extensive knowledge about hair transplant and the best doctors but it is too late and wondering if you guys can give me feed back about my hair transplant week 3 (21 days). I am concerned if they over harvested the drafts of more than 2800.

Why I chose Clinicana is due to the reviews and results I see on their website and YouTube videos. They were easy to communicate via WhatsApp prior to my operation. I met with their English advisor, supposedly the doctor and their specialist during my consultation with them. They did speak English and asked about my concerns and what I wanted with my hair transplant. Operation lasted about 5 hours and gave me instructions and care package after the operation.

Deciding to go to a Turkish clinic based on the testimonies of hypothetical patients seen on YouTube or on their websites is a serious mistake, which unfortunately you are not the only one to have done, in Turkey anyone can do transplants, just open a website, upload  photos (taken from other renowned clinics or surgeons), rent rooms in large Istanbul hospitals and have the procedure done by young trainees or boys who until the day before were waiters in restaurants, in Turkey the health authorities do not check and often have  dealing with self-styled doctors.  I hope you are all right, even if I see the donor very suffering, but it is too early to get scared.

Under the harsh light we can still see the donor areas. And it looks like you prefer to keep your hair longer so that will help with coverage.

The next 2-3 months will be exciting for you. New growth all around!

Hello all,

wanting to give you guys a 4 month update, hair is growing out normally now. Looks like there were some shockloss in the previous but it is getting better.

Hi @Toshinden5, May I ask you how are you liking the results of your surgery now? Clinicana is a clinic I contacted, and I'm curious to know your opinion if possible.

Kind regard,

Daniel

Clinicana is not a good choice of clinic (hair mill) please do start your own thread and ask for the community’s input for some better options.  Thanks 🙏
