Heating foam minoxidil into a liquid?

I've been using liquid minoxidil once a day at night for about a year, and have found it to be quite annoying use. Not because of the application itself, but because of how long it takes to dry, and because of how it makes my hair feel greasy even if it's fully dried.

I found this video where this guy heated up foam minoxidil to turn it into a liquid, and then applied it just like liquid minoxidil (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O73--OFFRzk). The difference is that it dries within 15 mins and doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy.

I'm just wondering how the effectiveness of this technique would compare to liquid minoxidil?

Heating Minox foam? Never heard people doing this before. From my experience it turns to liquid within a minute or less on my hand and scalp as well anyway.

I'm a diffuse thinner so turning it into a liquid first and then using the dropper to apply it makes it easier for me to get good coverage.
