Senior Member HTHope Posted April 27, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted April 27, 2020 I understand hair transplants are an illusion by utilizing about 50% of native density to achieve a full look. However, is there a mimimum length that one must keep the hair in order to not see any differences between native areas and transplanted? What is that length roughly? Obviously very short hairstyles like a buzzcut can reveal differences but can the difference can be seen at say 1/2 an inch?
Senior Member Shera Posted April 27, 2020 Senior Member Share Posted April 27, 2020 Hi HTHope, In my experience a length of an inch to 1.5 inches helps create the best illusion of a dense head of hair. By adding some clever strategic styling you can further enhance your appearance.
