HT at the Limmer Clinic

Recommended Posts

I had an HT on 2/2/2010, approx. 2,000 grafts. Dr. Brad Limmer and his staff performed the procedure. This was my first HT and my only knowledge of the procedure was obtained from this site and other information available on-line.

The care and professionalism that was provided at the Limmer Clinic was top of the line. From my initial contact with Tracy and Jessica via e-mail, to the telephone call from Dr. Limmer, to the conclusion of the HT, I received the highest level of service and courtesy. Dr. Brad explained the procedure and what to expect in clear language, and the actual procedure was consistent with what I was initially told.

As far as the procedure in Room #2, each of the staff members was very meticulous and professional. I felt somewhat sorry that Diane and some other staff had to stay so late (6:30 pm) to complete my procedure but I never heard her complain. I only used some of the provided pain medicine the first night. This type of work obviously requires an artistic flair and attention to detail, and all of the staff members that I met had these qualities.

It has been a week now since I had the procedure done. The recipient redness is almost gone now. I am by no means an expert with HT, but to my untrained eye the quality of work is excellent. Since I have some modest hair coverage in the recipient area, it is difficult to tell that I had the procedure done. If anything, it looks better than before the HT- I am light skinned and blond hair and the procedure has already provided me with a "hairline." Based on what I can see from the work that was done, I am sure I will be very pleased with the final results.

In short, I recommend Dr. Limmer and his clinic. The staff seems intent on making the experience a good one for the patient. If anyone wishes to contact me with any questions, I can be reached at pauleth@bellsouth.net. (note: prior to my HT, I had never met Dr. Limmer or any of his staff -my comments are based on my experience only).

Damn, with all the stuff you put in your hair are you like a negative NW1? :D

I will send some photos when I get them taken. I am very pleased with the results from the procedure 14 months ago. I was surprised that my hair continued to fill in from about 9 months - 12 or 13 months. The hairline looks very natural and I could not even tell that it is transplanted, if I did not know I had the procedure. Also, the treatment plan suggested by Dr. Limmer has helped a good bit - my hair is thicker and shinier. I look at a picture taken of me from 25 years ago (I am 59 years old) - it looks like I now have more hair! To those thinking about this, contact Dr. Limmer's office now - you will be pleased.
