BHRClinicSpain
Hi, This new procedure from Dr. Alcaide was done 7 months ago. The patient had an extensive hair loss and the main goal on this procedure was to rebuild frontal 1/3 area. Dr. advised him to start using finasteride trying to improve native hair on 2nd half of the head. On this occasion, Dr. Alcaide used 3306 FUE grafts. Here the data: Dr. Antonio ALCAIDE BHR Clinic Spain Age: 29 Technique: FUE Medication: Minoxidil, and finasteride after the surgery Hair Caliber: medium, wavy Previous procedures: No Total FU used:- 3306 * FU breakdown:- 1s 469 2s 1626 3s 1165 4s 46 TOTAL: 3306 That means 3306 FU = 7400 Hairs. Senior Member garethbale Posted March 19, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted March 19, 2019 Sorry but imo the hair line doesn’t look natural at all. You could spot that he had a transplant a mile off.
Senior Member hairman22 Posted March 19, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted March 19, 2019 should have out grafts in midsection of hair nearer to crown
BHRClinicSpain
Hi GarethBale / Hairman22, Apologies for the delay. Thank you both for your comments, all of them are always very helpful. The hair of this patient is kind of coarse and still growing. Sometimes that type of hair is a little bit "wild", but once it settles down around 12 month period, the overall result will look better. Nevertheless the patient is already happy with the improvement achieved considering the previous situation, and if he ends up having a 2nd procedure for mid-section, I believe he wil be very pleased. @ Hairman22 , we prefer to not spread grafts over a big area, so in this ocassion the main goal was the frontal 1/3. If we would have reached the crowns, the density would be lower than expected.
