Gpm16
I had a hair transplant with Dr. Demirciler in August of 2017 and it was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. From the get go things were sketchy. The car they set up to pick me up from the hotel to the hospital never came. I had to call them over and over again to finally get an answer. I ended up being 2 hours late for the surgery. I saw Dr. Demirciler for about 5 minutes. He just asked what area I would like to be the thickest, drew up my hair line then left. He popped into the surgery about 6 hours later for about 2 minutes to see how everything was going. Post op care was terrible. Any time I brought up a concern I was ignored. It took me really pushing for an answer for them to respond to even the simplest questions. As for the transplant itself, the results have been terrible. Not only was growth from the transplanted hairs bad but they over harvested my donor hairs. I consulted with another doctor to see if he could do anything and the first thing he pointed out was how bad my donor area looked after the surgery. Senior Member forgotpassword Posted January 7, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted January 7, 2019 Sorry to hear about your case. Are you able to share before and after pictures? What made you decide to see this doctor? July 2017 - Dr Cooley - 2575 grafts
Gpm16
I did some research on his clinic and found a youtuber who had some amazing results from his clinic. I booked and everything seemed to go well. But from the moment I left Turkey it seemed like they really stopped caring. The top 2 photos were taken the day of the surgery. The bottom is 8 months post OP. My 12 month progress picture are honestly no different. Edited January 8, 2019 by Gpm16
Senior Member JohnCasper Posted January 8, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted January 8, 2019 So sorry to hear this. Can you tell us how many grafts were transplanted? Hope you can find resources over time and can have another transplant if your donor area is strong enough. I am an online representative for Carolina Hair Surgery & Dr. Mike Vories (Recommended on the Hair Transplant Network). Gpm16
Thank you. The worst part is the treatment I received. I kept questioning why my results were soo bad and they just didn't reply. It took a couple of angry responses for them to finally answer. I had to enquire about getting another transplant with them to start another conversation. I tried contacting Dr. Demirciler directly on his facebook page but again, no response. Their lack of professionalism is really disappointing. As for basic information as to how many graft I received, I couldn't tell you. That's how disorganised their clinic is. I've consulted with another doctor about getting another transplant and it seems promising. There are proper contracts involved and there are procedures in place if the results don't go accordingly.
